Visit to Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs Monastery and Eudald Massana Winery
In Subirats, in the heart of the Penedès region, enjoy a combined guided tour to explore the history of our area.
First, you will visit the Monastery of Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs. The monastery is a monument that has just celebrated its millennium. It is an ancient Benedictine monastery declared a Site of National Cultural Interest by the Government of Catalonia in 2000.
Then, just a 5-minute drive away, you will enjoy an experience at the Eudald Massana Winery, a typical Catalan estate dating back to 1600, surrounded by vineyards and forest. We will visit the winery’s vineyards, located around the family’s ancestral home of the Massana family. You will learn about the history of the winery and the family, as well as the philosophy and core principles behind vineyard care and the production of all wines and cavas, following a biodynamic approach that respects nature and the surrounding ecology.
To finish, we will taste three wines and/or sparkling wines.

The visit to Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs Monastery is available only on the first and third Saturday of each month.
