About us
Massana Noya is the fruit of 9 generations dedicated to the cultivation of the vine or, rather, of a particular and unique way of working the land with a personal seal that has been passed down from father to son since the 18th century and from grandparents to grandchildren. Located in the middle of the Penedès, halfway between the sea and the mountains, the Maset is the cellar from where, for three centuries, the Massana family has been cooking the wines and cavas grown in vineyards with clayey, sandy or limestone soils where they plant several different varieties of grapes, from Macabeu or Xarel·lo to Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon via Chardonnay or Ull de lebre.
Seeking balance with the environment and all its actors , ecology and biodynamics are the pillar on which an agriculture based, for example, on the rejection of herbicides and synthetic products or on respect for the states is founded biodynamics of the cosmos and its harmony with nature and the environment. A viticultural identity, therefore, strongly rooted in the Penedès and which, born thanks to a heritage of more than 300 years, has as its only commitment the will to continue working the land with the eternal passion of those who love it as another part of himself
