Combined Experience: Visit to Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs Monastery and Eudald Massana Winery
In Subirats, in the heart of the Penedès, enjoy a combined guided visit to immerse yourself in the history of our region.
Eudald Massana is a typical Catalan estate dating back to 1600, surrounded by vineyards and woodland with views of the Monestir de Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs. We will visit the winery’s vineyards, located around the Massana family manor house. You will discover the history of the winery and the family, as well as their philosophy and the fundamental pillars behind vineyard care and the production of all their wines and cavas, following a biodynamic philosophy that respects nature and the ecology of the environment.
To conclude, we will taste three wines and/or sparkling wines.
Afterwards, you will visit Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs Monastery, just 5 minutes by car from the winery. The monastery is a historic monument that has recently celebrated its millennium. It is a former Benedictine monastery declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest by the Government of Catalonia in 2000.
