Avi Ton 2015 - Feeling

Wine from a Xarel·lo vineyard over seventy years old, with very low production and with barrel fermentation. This wine is a tribute to my father and my children's grandfather: hence the name.

Variety: Xarel·lo (old vines).
Terrain: Own organic farming vineyards located in Subirats. The grapes come from vines with very little production from vines planted in 1945.
DO Penedès.
Alcoholic degree: 12.5º

Elaboration

Maceration at 5ºC for 38-45 hours. Fermentation ends in new chestnut barrels. Aging for 3 months in contact with their own yeast and where the Batonnage is carried out.

Tasting note

Pale golden color with bright shades.

On the nose, the floral aromas (almond blossom) are combined with those of ripe fruit (pineapple, quince, compote) and the specific aromas of the barrel (toast, vanilla, coffee).

It is a balanced wine with body and glyceric, unctuous and at the same time transmits a feeling of freshness. Tropical notes.
